Paradise

Your light, your love, pure and true,

Calls to me and draws me back to you.

And every time I see your face,

My soul goes to a far-off place.

Where pain is gone and minds are cleared

For all my fears have disappeared.

And every time that we embrace,

Just you and I are in this place.

The warmth that flows between us there

Is cleansing light that leaves me bare.

Silence reigns where your gaze meets mine,

For all is lost in space and time.

In all that is I see your light, your ghost,

Even now within myself, this earthly host.
