
German Cabbage and Onion
This super simple and easy vegetable side dish has become a fan favorite around here. It is sooo delicious and goes with almost anything. Seriously, it's so good people often go back for seconds. It's hard not to. It's just a few ingredients and is quick and easy to prep. I usually start this first and finish the rest of dinner while it cooks. And the best part is that it is loaded with nutrients but low in calories.
Ingredients
- 1 head Cabbage
- 1 Onion
- 2 tbsp Plant-Based Butter
- 2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tsp Horseradish fresh, ground
- 1 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Thinly slice cabbage and onion. Heat plant-based butter in a large pot over medium-low heat.
- Add cabbage, onion, mustard seeds, Dijon mustard, horseradish, and salt. Mix evenly and cover. Cook for 20 minutes stirring occasionally.
