Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Coriander Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Pumpkin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Chipotle Powder
  • Pinch Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tsp Dried Chives
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • ½ cup Plant-base Butter room temperature
  • 1 loaf Bread of Choice a long sourdough, French loaf, or baguette, etc.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425° F. Slice bread loaf in half.
  • Grind cumin seeds, coriander seeds, pumpkin seeds, oregano, cinnamon, garlic powder, chipotle powder, and red pepper flakes in mortar and pestle or spice grinder to medium consistency.
  • Mix together ground spices, chives, minced garlic, salt and pepper, and plant-based butter. Spread evenly over cut sides of bread.
  • Bake for 5 minutes or until golden brown.

    Wow, I could stop eating this bread. I made it on an ancient grains loaf. I really love the texture that the ground pumpkin seeds add to the “butter”.
